Welcome to Beaty Farms

Beaty Farms is a family owned and operated registered and commercial cow-calf operation located in Denton County near Aubrey, Texas.  The land at our headquarters on Blackjack Road West has been in agricultural production by the Beaty family for four generations.

Beaty Farms Brangus Cattle

Brangus cattle are 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman and this combination takes advantage of the best of each breed.  The packers like Angus for their marbling qualities and they want no more than 1/4 Brahman.  When Brangus Bulls are used on English or Continental breeds, the offspring will be 3/16 Brahman, the minimum required by most packers.   "Brangus calves now meet the live cattle requirement for the Certified Angus Beef Program."

Our first Registered Brangus cattle were purchased in 1991. Since then our goal has been to improve the genetics of the herd by introducing top quality bulls, by purchasing additional quality females, and by developing our own replacement cattle.  We are continually striving to improve quality and performance by individual record keeping, introduction of new genetics, and by following a veterinary approved herd health program. We watch EPD's very closely and also consider visual appearance and actual performance when evaluating a cow or bull.

In addition to offering a good selection of top quality young Brangus bulls for sale, Beaty Farms also sells both Brangus Gold and Registered replacement heifers, bred heifers, and show heifers.

Beaty Farms All-Natural Beef

In 2008, we began a new branch of Beaty Farms:  "Beaty Farms All Natural Beef" which is processed, frozen and packaged under our own private label.  These steers have never had hormones, never had antibiotics, and have never been fed any animal by-products.  This delicious beef can be purchased at the farm or at the Denton County Farmer's Market on Carroll Blvd. in Denton from April through November.

Beaty Farms is certified under the Texas Beef Quality Producer Program, a co-operative program by Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Beef Council and the Texas AgriLife Extension Service.  Jack and Mary Lynn are members of International Brangus Breeders Association, Texas Brangus Breeders Association, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Denton County Livestock Association, Denton County Farm Bureau and Denton County Farmer's Market.  Mary Lynn served in the past on the Denton County Crops, Forages, and Beef Committee for many years.

Hi Mary Lynn,
I want you to know we are really enjoying the beef from the steer I bought from you. I will stop by when I go to the Farmer’s Market.

I was thinking that you would like to know how one of your bulls that you sold turned out. Dont know if you remember me or not, but I got one of your bulls last April. BF 93W2 ND He was a young bull, and I want you to know that he is a pleasure to work with. Very calm, I am getting some very nice calves from him as they are low birth weight calves but really grow fast. They range fron 60lb to 75lbs no trouble with the heifers.

Shug has turned out to be one of the most gentle heifers I've been around. I knew she was the one the moment I saw her. I wouldn't trade showing Shug for anything.

Hello, just wanted to give an update on Katie!(our show calf),
Katie took reserve champion in her class at the Tulsa State Fair this past weekend, This calf has the best disposition of any bovine around. She was so easy to train and her arena manners are second to none. She is just a jewel and her and Sabreena have such a bond that she will lay down and put head in Sabreena's lap and fall asleep. We could not be happier. Her quality of breeding really comes out and we are very excited about the spring show season. If Katie is an example of your herd, which I know she is, then thank you for producing such a first class breed of cattle.
